The complaint also details a second alleged incident on June 7, when another argument reportedly escalated after she accused him of lying.
The woman claims she was slapped in the face and told not to question him while they were sitting together on a couch.
TMZ reports that the woman later recorded a conversation in which he allegedly stated, “If I really slapped you, your face would be blue/black.”
The complaint further references an earlier physical incident prior to both dates that allegedly left the woman with visible bruising.
An arrest warrant was issued on January 8 for assault and battery, and a court appearance is scheduled for February.
During a 14-year NFL career, Davis became one of the most recognizable offensive figures of the Harbaugh-era 49ers, later finishing his career with Washington and Denver, where he won a Super Bowl.
