Emma Meesseman led her team Fenerbahçe to victory in the semifinals of the Turkish Basketball Cup in Denizli on Friday. Meesseman and Fenerbahçe previously won the Turkish Cup in 2024.
In the 84-66 victory against Julie Vanloo’s Mersin team, Meesseman scored exactly 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in 32 minutes of play. Also for Fenerbahçe, Belgian Cat Julie Allemand scored 8 points and 5 assists in 20 minutes of play.
Julie Vanloo scored 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists for Mersin. She also played 20 minutes. Three days earlier, Vanloo scored 22 points in the quarterfinal victory against Botas Spor (78-81).
Fenerbahçe will face Galatasaray in the final on Sunday (2 p.m. Belgian time), after defeating Emlak Konut (with Antonia Delaere) 66-64 in the second semi-final. Delaere had one assist in five minutes of play.
