Read the Heartfelt Letter Travis Kelce Wrote to Taylor Swift for Her Final Shows

“That night in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life,” Travis Kelce wrote Taylor Swift before her final Eras Tour shows.

For anyone who thinks that Taylor Swift is about to marry a dumb jock, maybe this next article will prove that Travis Kelce is anything but. The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end wrote a touching letter to his now-fiancée before her final run of Eras Tour shows. Parts of it were read aloud in the last episode of her End Of An Era documentary series. It’s currently streaming on Disney+.

What Did the Letter From Travis Kelce Say?

Swift read the letter before her Dec. 6, 2024, show in Vancouver, and it got her a little emotional.

The letter begins with this: “So many unbelievable memories on this tour, but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time. Being mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn’t even know me.”

“I selfishly say thank you for creating this legendary tour, and to [tour manager] Robert [Allen] for making you stop through Kansas City, MO,” says Kelce. “That night in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life.”

How the Kelce Supported Taylor Swift on Her Tour

For those unaware, Kelce first saw Swift perform live at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023 during her Eras Tour. At that show, he tried to give her his number.

“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Kelce told Jason on the show. He added that he “didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets” he made for her.

It all worked out, obviously. Kelce proposed to Swift in August. In the new docuseries, he has been shown as a support to the “Bad Blood” singer while she toured globally.

At one moment, Swift returned to the stage in London following a failed terrorist attack in Austria earlier in her tour. She called Kelce to share the moment.

“Baby, it’s like the crowd knew that I needed a pick-me-up. They were – when I walked out on stage, they were wilder than I’ve ever seen,” she said. “I’m so happy to be back to doing this in a functional way. Like, I was so happy that I thought I was going to forget how to play guitar and sing.”
