Residents of the Riverbank Residences are not easily startled — the building is known for hosting athletes, actors, and public figures who keep unusual hours. But last night, something about Alessia Russo’s apartment drew attention none of them expected.

For the first time in months, her lights never went off.

According to neighbours on the 14th floor, Russo’s living room windows glowed until sunrise, long after she normally would have been asleep following a late training session. Some assumed she was simply watching film footage or recovering in front of the TV.

But then the noises began.

Just after 1:23 a.m., a resident in the apartment next door reported hearing “soft, hurried footsteps and what sounded like someone pacing.” Another said they heard a brief thud, followed by a voice — low, muffled, but definitely not Russo’s usual tone.

No shouting. No argument.
Just movement… and something that sounded like a short, sharp gasp.

“I thought she had people over,” one neighbour whispered, requesting anonymity.
“But then I realized — she never has visitors this late.”

The mystery deepened at 2:11 a.m. when the corridor camera captured Russo stepping out briefly, barefoot, wearing an oversized hoodie and holding her phone tightly in one hand. She didn’t go far — just stood outside her door for a moment, staring down the hallway as if listening for something.

Thirty seconds later, she hurried back inside and locked the door.

By morning, the lights were still on.

Fans online immediately began theorizing after a resident anonymously posted that something felt “off” about the night. Some connected it to the deleted post from days prior. Others speculated she might’ve received unexpected news, or that someone had visited earlier in the evening.

The most curious detail?
At 7:42 a.m., long after the sun rose, Russo left the building wearing sunglasses and a cap pulled low — unusual for her, according to staff — and she avoided eye contact with everyone, moving quickly to a waiting car.

She didn’t respond to questions from reporters later that day.
The club declined to comment.
And neighbours say her apartment remained silent and dark the rest of the afternoon.

But residents on the 14th floor are convinced:
Whatever kept Russo awake all night didn’t start — or end — with just the lights.

Something happened behind those closed doors.
And nobody knows what… yet.
